Hogan Lovells US LLP seeks one or more experienced patent agents or junior/mid-level patent attorneys to join our international Intellectual Property, Media and Technology practice.  Candidates will primarily support our East Coast IP team, based out of our co-headquarters in Washington, D.C., and our rapidly developing West Coast IP team based in San Francisco.  Hogan’s global footprint, depth of expertise, and top notch client base provide a wide variety of opportunities for different types of work in different areas of technology, both domestically and internationally.  Our teams routinely handle matters involving cutting edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, cloud computing, robotics and autonomous systems, data centers, computer vision, virtual/augmented reality, digital health, and graphics / animation.  Our clients range from Silicon Valley startups looking for their first round of funding to the largest companies on the planet.  If you are interested in doing the most challenging and interesting types of IP work with the most interesting clients and technologies, you will be hard pressed to find a better opportunity.  Candidates will primarily support D.C. and San Francisco, but all office locations will be considered, and alternative work arrangements are available.  Hogan Lovells is also widely considered to be one of the friendliest big firms, so come find out what it is like to be a part of our team.

Preferred candidates will be experienced in patent prosecution (including excellent drafting skills), and will preferably have at least experience with litigation support, licensing, post-grant, and opinion work. Applicants must have excellent writing skills and academic credentials. An undergraduate degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, applied physics, computer science or equivalent required. Patent Bar membership or ability to qualify for the Patent Bar required.
